These terms apply to video production services ordered directly from Tidecut Studio. Orders placed through Upwork or another marketplace are governed by that marketplace's terms; where they conflict, the marketplace terms prevail.
Each project starts with a written brief. Scripts are sent for approval before voice and editing begin. Changes to an approved script after production has started count as a new revision round.
Every package includes the number of revision rounds stated on the packages page. A round is one consolidated list of changes. Extra rounds cost $15 each. Requests that change the agreed concept, length or style are quoted as new work.
Standard delivery is 24 hours for scripts and 48–72 hours for finished videos after script approval. Rush delivery is available for a 30% surcharge. Deadlines pause while we wait for client feedback or materials.
Single videos are paid upfront. Monthly packages are paid at the start of each month. Prices are in USD.
If we have not started work, you receive a full refund. Once a script has been delivered, the script portion is non-refundable. If we miss a confirmed deadline by more than 48 hours without notice, you may cancel that video for a full refund.
After full payment, all rights to the final video, script and thumbnails transfer to you. We may show the work in our portfolio only with your permission.
We use licensed, royalty-free or public-domain music and footage. Materials you supply must be yours to use. We do not clone or imitate a real person's voice without that person's documented consent.
We use AI tools for research, voice and parts of editing. Every video is directed, fact-checked and quality-controlled by a person. You are responsible for any platform disclosure labels on your uploads; we can advise on them.
